Espadrilles - bonmarche

This French shoe is the original espadrille from the Basque region of France. Our artisan workshops have been making women's espadrilles for over a century. Our French espadrille artisans design these casual, canvas slip on shoes with a heavyweight canvas fabric upper with the toe and vamp cut in one piece and sewn to the jute rope footbed. Similar to the now popular Toms Shoes, this popular footwear is the original design from 14th century France. A thin rubber outer sole protects the jute rope. Easy to slip on and designed to be a relaxed fit, the canvas fabric will stretch and mold to your feet over time and is a great alternative to sandals.  US Women's sizes 6 to 11.  Half sizes order next size up.
