The Fermob Sixties Low Armchair is what Frédéric Sofia had in mind when he designed a chair that forms a cocoon: generous, enveloping, and surprisingly light for something that holds you so well. The tubular aluminum frame keeps the weight down while the outdoor fibre polyethylene woven seat and backrest do the comfort work, adapting to the shape of the body in a way that flat-seat armchairs simply don't.
Young in spirit and contemporary in form, it sits as naturally in a thoughtfully designed living room as it does on a terrace or garden deck. The woven construction breathes, handles weather without complaint, and catches the light with the kind of texture that makes even an empty chair worth looking at. Available in a curated limited color palette.
