The Fermob Luxembourg Armchair carries one of the more remarkable origin stories in outdoor furniture. In 1923, the Paris parks department created the original chairs for the Jardin du Luxembourg: chairs that Fermob still manufactures today for those same public gardens. When Frédéric Sofia was asked in 2004 to reinterpret that legacy for a new generation, the result was a collection that honors the original's distinctive lines while bringing the lightness, comfort, and practicality that modern outdoor living demands.
The tubular aluminum frame extends to include curved aluminum slat armrests alongside the seat and backrest, elevating this from a dining chair to a proper armchair perfect for settling in. Silencing pads keep it quiet on any surface. Stacks eight high for easy storage, and pairs with optional cushions for those evenings that call for something softer. Available across Fermob's full 25-color palette, it coordinates naturally with every Luxembourg table format.
