The Fermob Somerset Bench is a fresh take on the English park bench — faithful to the spirit of the original, bold in how it gets there. Designed by Studio Fermob, a teak frame anchors tubular aluminum seat and backrest sections, with velvety-soft teak armrests integrated directly into the base for a natural, flowing silhouette. It's the kind of material pairing Fermob does best: colorful, weather-resistant metal alongside warm, characterful wood.
The teak is sourced from government-controlled plantations in Indonesia, covered by a certified reforestation program — naturally decay-resistant and built to handle outdoor exposure for years without special treatment. Available across the full 25-color metal palette, it brings genuine contemporary character to a design with centuries of heritage behind it.
